Shift Manager

The Gig:At District Taco our managers don't just manage but lead their Teams! You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a great Guest experience by ensuring that our food is prepared and served in a safe manner while maintaining our high-quality standards. You will be responsible for everything from maintaining a clean and functional service line and lobby to on the spot developing and coaching of your CTs and Team Members.Core Responsibilities:Maintaining quality by monitoring staff and sampling products at various stages of productionEnforcing District Taco's safe food handling practices using the HACCP planOverseeing all aspects of food preparationWorking to ensure that the restaurant opens and closes according to company standardsCommunicating concerns and needs with supervisors and staffAssessing general enthusiasm and morale to find ways to improve Team Member wellbeingWorking towards healthy communication among team membersCommunicating clear expectations to Team Members and guiding staff to ensure prescribed goals are metAcknowledging positive and negative behavior through progressive discipline formsMonitoring hourly labor, coordinating breaks and clocking-out Team Members as neededMaintaining organization of storage areas to ensure rotation of goodsAssessing needs and ordering supplies for the restaurantOverseeing Catering ordersControlling alcohol sales to ensure proper handling guidelines are metEnsuring that all cash is counted and logged throughout shiftsInteracting with guests and Team Members to ensure customer satisfactionResolving customer service issues if they ariseQualifications:District Taco Certified TrainerPossesses strong skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy, and patienceHave a true passion for facilitating all of District Taco's operational proceduresPossesses a strong knowledge of all District Taco's Team Member PoliciesKnowledge of Food Safety and health department policiesAbility to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
