In this role, you’ll also assist with finishing department setup and production reporting to help ensure our customers receive a quality die-cast product.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nFollows written and oral work instructions\nSafely and properly loads, unloads and transports materials using forklift and tugger\nOrganizes dunnage and manages ready supply of empty dunnage\nCreates and attaches identifying tags or labels to materials\nRemoves all old labels or tags from dunnage\nVerifies routing tags or labels have been signed before moving from cell\nVerifies counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet\nPerforms production reporting process for finished goods\nPerforms offline cell changeovers\nMaintains correct media levels, tools and supplies for all finishing equipment\nPerforms basic troubleshooting and maintenance of finishing department equipment\nPerforms floor work activities necessary to keep an orderly flow of production without unnecessary interruptions\nAssists supervisors in assigning placement of finishing operators\nPerforms duties of finishing operator\nMeets expected productivity requirements for assigned area\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nEducation: High school diploma or GED\nCertification/License: Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) License\nExperience: Minimum 3 months manufacturing experience operating a fork truck\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nPrior experience supporting finishing and/or shipping operations in a manufacturing environment\nComfortable completing basic equipment troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks\nExperience with production counts, weights, labeling, and daily production reporting\nWORK EXPECTATIONS\n\nMaintain regular and punctual attendance and work assigned schedule\nWork overtime (OT) as assigned\nMeet productivity requirements for the assigned area\nMeet all physical and environmental requirements for the role\nApplicants must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.\n\nManagement has the right to revise this description at any time.
