Property Manager Office Assistant

Position Summary The Office / Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations. This role focuses on administrative management, tenant relations, leasing support, financial tracking, and coordination with vendors to ensure efficient property operations and high resident satisfaction. Administrative & Office Management Maintain organized property records, leases, correspondence, and compliance documents Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle resident inquiries professionally and promptly Assist with preparing reports, notices, and internal documentation Tenant & Resident Relations Assist with tenant onboarding, lease execution, renewals, and move-in/move-out processes Address resident concerns, complaints, and service requests; escalate when necessary Enforce property policies and procedures in coordination with the Property Manager Leasing & Marketing Support Support leasing activities, including scheduling tours, processing applications, and screening tenants Assist with marketing efforts such as listings, signage, and online advertising Track leasing activity and maintain accurate availability records Financial & Rent Administration Collect rent payments and post transactions accurately Assist with delinquency tracking, late notices, and payment plans Maintenance & Vendor Coordination Coordinate access for vendors and contractors Assist with vendor communications and service documentation Qualifications & Skills 1–3 years of experience in property management, real estate, or administrative support (preferred) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Customer-service oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Knowledge of leasing practices and basic property accounting is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
