For more than 30 years, we've partnered with customers to advance critical missions across the globe - providing innovative, reliable solutions for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian Agencies.\n\nConducts research in design, development, testing and utilization of electronic data processing software.\nDesigns, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.\nConducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.\nDetermines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.\nEnsures software standards are met.\nAnalyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.\nConfers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.\nDesigns, develops, and modifies software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.\nCoordinates software system installations and monitors equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.\nTranslate detailed design into computer software.\nEnhance software to reduce operating times or improve efficiency.\nPerforms reverse engineering.\nDevelop software solutions compatible with Concept of Operations.\nQualifications\n\nPosition requires an active Top Secret clearance with ability to potentially upgrade to TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.\nRequires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of software engineering development experience on host applications and/or embedded processing systems; f our years of additional software development experience may be substituted for degree.\nExperience with Windows and Linux applications, systems and API development.\nAbility to contribute to system-level design in order to optimize overall system performance and reliability.\n4 years' in-depth experience with Windows and Linux applications, systems and API development.\n6 years' experience perform in-depth analysis of wired and wireless network traffic using Wireshark or other compatible protocol analyzer.\nExperience in networking protocols such as TCP/IP and network-based communication protocols.\n8 years' experience in the use of programming languages such as Bash, Python, C, C++, C# and .NET Framework.\n3 years' experience in the use of programming languages such as Qt and Meta Object Complier (moc).\nExperienced at providing technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met. Target Salary Range\n\n$135,000 - $216,000.
