{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a5ecfd7c8c0a7a9687a7e00c","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a5ecfd7c8c0a7a9687a7e00c","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a5ecfd7c8c0a7a9687a7e00c","title":"Engineering Trainee","description":"BASIC FUNCTION:\nThe Trainee Engineer in the Rotational Development Program is an entry-level engineering professional participating in a structured program designed to develop broad technical and operational expertise across multiple key functions within the organization.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nOver the course of the program, the engineer will rotate through four core domains:\nProcess Engineering\nGain hands-on experience in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.\nDevelop process flow sheets for new and existing operation\nSupport equipment design for new plant installations, collaborating with project and mechanical engineering teams to define specifications and layout\nAnalyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.\nSupport troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process deviations.\nEngineering Project Management\nParticipate in the planning, execution, and delivery of capital and technical projects, learning how to manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.\nAssist in planning, budgeting, and executing engineering projects and related deliverables.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.\nTrack project progress and prepare status reports for stakeholders.\nPlant Production Operations\nWork directly with production teams to understand day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to performance and efficiency improvements.\nParticipate in daily production activities to understand operational workflows.\nMonitor KPIs such as throughput, yield, and downtime, and propose corrective actions.\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.\nCollaborate with R&D and innovation teams to support feasibility studies, pilot trials, and the development of new technologies or products.\nCollaborate with R&D and innovation teams to support feasibility studies and pilot trials.\nContribute to the design and scale-up of new processes or products.\nDocument learnings and provide feedback to improve early-phase methodologies.\nCross-Rotation Responsibilities\nEngage in regular feedback sessions with mentors and program coordinators.\nDemonstrate adaptability and initiative in diverse technical environments.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
