**Pay Dependent on Skills and Experience and Level**
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for testing systems and procedures to ensure they meet technical standards and creating quality documentation. QA Engineers are responsible for identifying technical issues and getting to the root of the problem, they proactively recommend solutions that will improve product durability and overall performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support to inspectors as needed
Create and enter reports AS9100 (including net inspect) and maintain status logs
Create SPC sheets as required and monitor results for trends
Perform Contract Review analysis on all jobs- assign actions and follow up after meetings
Inspect parts as required
Create and revise master travelers for all top ASSY and component jobs in ERP
Establish set up and run times for CNC operations
Establish raw materials needed and enter the material library
Define specialty tooling needed for hardware
Perform internal audits on all processes as required
Schedule source inspections with customers
Organize data packages
Perform system accuracy tests on salt bath and ovens as required
Inspection reports
Verify calibration of all inspection tooling
Identify potential issues/problems and recommend corrective action measures
Meet customer requirements by following work instructions including work orders and specification sheets

Competence with Inspection Tooling
Understanding of GD&T, flatness, profile, surface texture
Competence in Epicor ERP system
Competence with AS9100 requirements
Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BS in related discipline
May be substituted by commensurate experience
Level II: Minimum 2 years of related experience.
Level III: Minimum 5 years of related experience; at least 1 year of experience in an AS9100 environment. .
