THAT is Link Snacks.\n\nJob Description\n\nPackaging - Production General Labor\n1st SHIFT: M-Th 6am-430pm\nThe role of the Production Worker is to perform necessary functions in order to efficiently, safely, and correctly prepare and process raw material to prepare it for cooking or cut & package finished product in preparation for shipment to customer.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:\nGeneral:\nFollow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals.\nEnsure product conforms to specifications.\nPrevent and minimize rework and/or inedible.\nMay require working on taping machines, shrink wrap machines, pallet jacks, trash and recycling compactors.\nPerform standard operating procedures of production and inspection functions as directed.\nSuccessfully complete all necessary technical training and skills verification as directed.\nSuccessfully complete all necessary soft skills training as directed.\nReturn from breaks in a timely manner; notify lead/foreman/supervisor before leaving the department.\nAccurately complete all necessary paperwork as directed.\nAttend all department and company scheduled meetings.\nWorks scheduled shift as assigned.\nMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area.\nImmediately report all accidents and deficiencies to the lead/foreman/supervisor.\nEnsure safety devices are installed and working properly.\nSuggest improvements; continuously improve the quality of all support activities.\nPerform all required duties within OSHA and company safety standards.\nFollows set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times.\nFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, along with company pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s).\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as necessary.\nEnsure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper disposition.\nKeep record of products used to follow FIFO (first in – first out).\nReady to Eat:\nCount and place packages in appropriate caddies, maintaining accurate records, washing and sanitizing carts, racks, and trucks.\nHandling finished product, placing it continuously in trays or assembly lines to be shipped to our customers.\nMaking pallets by stacking boxes onto pallets, preparing the pallet with cardboard wrapping, manually shrink wrapping, and pulling/pushing pallets with manual pallet jack.\n\nQualifications\n\nREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nRequired Education: None\nRequired Experience: None\nPreferred: Knowledge of warehouse and assembly line experience is a plus.\nREQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:\nMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be able to perform repetitive functions.\nMust adhere to all company policies and regulatory guidelines.\nMust be able to accept direction from Department Leads and supervisors\nMust be able to communicate with co-workers and supervisor.\nMust be able to work in a team oriented environment.\nMust be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.\nExcellent attendance and dependability\nAttention to detail\nFast-paced environment\nWork well with others\nGreat communication skills\n\nAdditional Information\n\nThe hiring range for this role is $15.81 - $23.71 Hourly. Actual wages will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
