We’re looking for team members who thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in delivering great guest experiences, and are excited to be part of a team that brings energy and intention to every shift.\nPosition Summary\nThe Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in the overall operation and financial performance of the San Leandro location. This includes staff leadership, guest experience, food and beverage quality, compliance, cleanliness, and profitability.\nThis is a full-time, exempt management position.\nCompensation\nSalary Range: $70,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience)Bonus Eligibility: Quarterly performance-based bonus potential Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) eligibility in accordance with company policy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAssist GM in leading, training, scheduling, and coaching taproom staff to deliver excellent customer service.\nMaintain high standards of cleanliness, service consistency, and guest satisfaction\nAssist GM with oversight of inventory management and ordering\nEnsure accurate cash handling, deposits, and tip reporting\nCollaborate with GM on SOP development and operational improvements\nEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including ABC regulations and health and safety standards\nHandle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.\nWith GM, monitor and report on key performance indicators, including sales, labor, and inventory metrics.\nManage vendor relationships related to taproom operations\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat You Bring\n2+ years managing a high-volume food & beverage operation ($3–5M annual revenue preferred)\nStrong leadership, accountability, and coaching skills\nAbility to manage financial performance, labor metrics, and operational systems\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nKnowledge of draft systems and basic maintenance (preferred)\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment\nAdaptability and sound decision-making under pressure\n21+ years of age\nValid California Driver’s License with acceptable driving record (if driving is required)\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods\nWorking knowledge of California health, sanitation, and ABC laws\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nThis role operates in a restaurant and bar environment with exposure to noise, kitchen equipment, and temperature variations.
