Our reuse-first approach helps clients reduce costs, protect sensitive data, and meet sustainability goals.The RoleReboot is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to help expand our reach across commercial, healthcare, education, and institutional organizations.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales within a rapidly growing industry. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing relationships throughout the sales process, and helping drive revenue growth. You will work directly with IT, Facilities, Procurement, and Operations leaders while gaining exposure to every stage of the sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through proposal development and closing.While Reboot serves organizations nationwide, our primary growth focus is currently the New York metropolitan area, including New York City, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. As the company continues to grow, you will also have opportunities to support clients and projects across the country.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage prospective clients across commercial businesses, healthcare organizations, universities, K-12 school districts, nonprofits, and other institutionsDevelop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnershipsConduct discovery calls to understand client needs and position Reboot's ITAD, data destruction, and recycling servicesCreate and deliver proposals, coordinate pricing discussions, and assist in negotiating service agreementsManage opportunities throughout the sales process and work toward closing new businessBuild and maintain relationships with strategic referral and industry partnersAttend industry networking events and conferences to represent Reboot and generate new business opportunitiesMaintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer information within HubSpotCollaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through project completionQualifications1+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, IT sales, technology services, managed services, SaaS, telecommunications, staffing, or another customer-facing B2B roleStrong communication skills and confidence speaking with executives and decision makersComfortable making outbound calls, sending emails, networking, and building relationships from scratchHighly motivated, competitive, and driven to exceed goalsOrganized and capable of managing multiple opportunities and follow-up activities simultaneouslyExperience using HubSpot or another CRM platform preferredProfessional, coachable, and eager to build a long-term career in salesWillingness to attend networking events, industry conferences, and occasional client meetings throughout the regionInterest in technology, sustainability, IT asset disposition (ITAD), data destruction, or related industries is a plusPreferred ExperienceExperience selling technology, IT services, ITAD, facilities services, or other B2B solutions preferredFamiliarity with enterprise technology and IT infrastructure is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary plus uncapped commissionTarget On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $150,000+ by Year 2Candidates with ITAD, IT services, technology, or electronics industry experience may achieve this milestone significantly fasterPaid Time Off (PTO)Direct exposure to company leadershipOpportunity to join a rapidly growing company in the technology, sustainability, and recycling industriesWhy Reboot?At Reboot, you'll have the opportunity to make a measurable impact while helping organizations securely and responsibly manage their technology assets.
