This position supports a federal contract which requires U.S. Citizenship and candidates will need to undergo a federal background suitability check to secure building access. This position is on-site in Germantown, MD.\n\nPosition Responsibilities:\n\nPlans, designs and supports migrations of Jira and Confluence to Atlassian Cloud\n\n• Provides Identity Management Expertise, including planning and maintenance of various identity systems and services (multi-factor, SSO) and authorization concepts.\n\n• Applies software updates and patches to Jira, Confluence, WebSphere.\n\n• Integrates Jira with other tools and systems\n\n• Provides technical mentorship, guidance, and expertise to a small team of developers\n\n• Builds, enhances and maintains custom solutions in Jira, Java-based and Azure .NET custom web-applications\n\n• Modernizes applications written in older technologies for new platforms\n\n• Performs requirements analysis and writes professional, detailed technical documentation\n\n• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and solves technical issues with existing applications\n\n• Provides clear communication with clients, team members and customers on video, phone and in person\n\n• Captures clear, concise and accurate technical documentation\n\nPosition Requirements:\n\nU.S. Citizenship\n\nBachelor's degree in computer science\n\n10+ years of experience:\n\nDesigning, developing, testing, and maintaining custom Jira solutions\n\nSoftware development, particularly with Java, JavaScript\n\nRelational databases (SQL and SQL Managed Instance)\n\nVersion control systems, frameworks and tools relevant to application development\n\nIdentity and Access Management implementation and management\n\nIdentity and Access Management implementation and management\n\nAtlassian Cloud and Migrating Jira and Confluence to Atlassian Cloud\n\nAgile Scrum with Jira, general Jira Application Administration\n\nAzure App Service, Azure SQL Managed Instance.
