Become a maker of possible with us.\nJob Summary This position provides the overall leadership for the Tucson site within technical operator, Mechanics and works very close with all departments on site as QA, Engineering, Supervisor can give direction directly to all associates on Dosimetry, QA, Technical operator, Material handler and Mechanics. Works closely with Production Scheduler to run monthly plan. Develops and drives the overall plant for the operation.\nEnsures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.\nJob Responsibilities Associate training for the associates have training on procedures and Apriso, SAP systems, B eagle and eDHR.\nClose Production order in edhr.\nLeadership and support of all safety aspects of the plant warehouse.\nEnsures all material handing equipment conform to the safety requirements of the plant.\nCoordinate Production Orders (Irradiation Orders).\nCoordinate with the Production Scheduler to align on the monthly production plan.\nCoordinate mechanics for the execution of corrective and preventive maintenance plans.\nCoordinate activities between the technical operator and material handlers.\nEnsure production orders are complete, released, and ready to be processed.\nEnsure executed production orders are properly posted (confirmed and accurately recorded).\nMaintain and report all production performance metrics, including OEE.\nPromote and implement continuous improvement initiatives for processes and equipment.\nEnsure equipment availability for maintenance execution.\nCoordinate with material handlers to ensure material availability and that work orders are ready for processing.\nMake operational decisions in cases of equipment downtime, always prioritizing safety and product quality.\nProvide training to associates on procedures and systems such as Apriso, SAP, B-Eagle, and eDHR.\nOther duties as required to support the needs of the business.\nEducation and Experience Associate’s degree in manufacturing, or related field required.\nBachelor’s degree in manufacturing, or relevant field preferred.\n5 yrs. equipment operation experience preferred\nPrevious leadership experience preferred.\nKnowledge and Skills SAP/MES knowledge (plus)\nCommunication and presentation skills\nAbility to communicate with various organizational levels\nComputer skills (including Microsoft Office)\nCommunication and presentation skills required\nStrategic thinking required\nAnalytical and problem solving\nBD prioritizes on-site collaboration to foster creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving in the fast-paced healthcare industry. For most roles, a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week is requested to maintain our culture and ensure smooth operations.
