This role is responsible for daily asphalt operations by safely operating heavy equipmentprimarily loadersas well as performing routine and preventative plant maintenance to ensure continuous, efficient production.\r\nDay to Day\r\nActively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition\r\nOperate asphalt equipment\r\nPerform daily maintenance on the plant.\r\nComply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.\r\nPerform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance\r\nMaintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators\r\nPerform other duties or responsibilities as assigned\r\nAbout You\r\n3-5 Years experience preferred\r\nExperience with Loader SIZE 980.\r\nPrompt, regular, and predictable attendance\r\nPositive, team-based attitude\r\nThe ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.\r\nAbility to lift 25-50 lbs. on occasion.\r\nThe ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)\r\nAbility to operate heavy equipment safely\r\nUnderstand and carry out oral & written instructions\r\nAbility to keep accurate daily record.\r\nKnowledge of plant maintenance and construction materials\r\nGood mental concentration and judgement\r\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\r\nWorking Conditions\r\nWhile most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.\r\nCompensation\r\n$22.64 - $30.40\r\nBenefits\r\nArcosa is proud to offer competitive benefits and programs to help you and your family meet your healthcare and retirement planning needs.
