This role supports infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, system administration, and development team tooling. The position handles complex technical challenges with minimal supervision, while collaborating with senior technical staff as needed.\n\nEssential Functions\nDesign, implement, and maintain physical, virtual, and containerized infrastructure environments\nBuild and maintain infrastructure automation for configuration, software integration, testing, and deployment\nDevelop and support CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, reproducible deployments\nImplement “hands-off” system build, test, integration, deployment, and upgrade environments for turnkey delivery to closed-network environments\nAdminister and support development tools and environments (build servers, artifact repositories, collaboration tools, etc.)\nAdminister Linux environments with a focus on Debian Based Distros (Ubuntu) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)\nDeploy and manage enterprise container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AWS EKS\nAdminister and maintain virtualization infrastructure including VMware and Proxmox\nDocument system designs, environments, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks\nMentor team members and share expertise in DevOps, containerization, automation, and system administration\nProduce and deliver technical presentations to clients and internal leadership as needed\n\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nDemonstrated experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)\nDemonstrated experience with OpenShift and/or AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) desired\nDemonstrated experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)\nDemonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform)\nExperience deploying software-intensive systems involving web, middleware, and database components\nStrong Linux system administration experience (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred)\nExperience designing, documenting, and deploying physical infrastructure (e.g., racking/stacking, server installation)\nExperience administering development ecosystem tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Slack, etc.\nStrong written, verbal, presentation, and documentation skills\n\nRequired Education, Certifications, Licenses & Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field OR\n8 years of related experience in lieu of degree\n4+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, DevOps, systems administration, or related field\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) — Required\nExperience with automated test frameworks for web-based and microservices architectures\nExperience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS; AWS EKS experience preferred)\nExperience with virtualization and automation tools such as VMware, Proxmox, Infrakit, Vagrant, Puppet, or similar\nExperience administering tools used by software development teams (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Team Foundation Server, GitHub, Slack)\nCybersecurity-related experience is a plus\nWillingness to travel internationally on occasion\n\nPhysical Job Requirements\nAbility to remain seated and/or standing for extended periods\nAbility to spend extended periods working at computer workstations and viewing monitors\n\nTravel Requirements\nPosition may require domestic or international travel\n#LI-NA1\n\nSecuriport is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
