App Developer (CI/CD Focus)

OverviewWe are seeking skilled App Developers with a strong focus on Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Bitbucket/Bitbucket Pipelines for our client, a reputable healthcare system. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through robust CI/CD processes. If you're passionate about CI/CD and DevOps practices, and eager to work in a forward-thinking environment, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Bitbucket Pipelines.Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.Orchestrate CI/CD across the organization.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and deployments.Implement best practices for version control, branching strategies, and deployment workflows.Bitbucket for version control and collaboration to automate workflows, deliver code changes efficiently, and employ best practices for optimizing development pipelines.Work closely with the lead developer and other team members to enhance efficiency and reliability.Ensure all development efforts are aligned with the latest CI/CD and DevOps best practices.Enhance compliance enforcement and process control by leveraging the logic-driven, code-based nature of Dynamic Pipelines.Centrally define and manage CI/CD workflows in-code, fostering standardization, reusability, and efficient process management.QualificationsProven experience as an App Developer with a focus on CI/CD processes and DevOps.Strong knowledge of Bitbucket Cloud, Git-based code, and Jira.Strong expertise in Bitbucket - Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines - YAML configuration file Knowledge of best practices in version control, branching, and deployment.Experience creating standardized and reusable 'blocks' of CI/CD workflows that can be defined & shared by platform engineering teams, and then consumed by multiple engineering teams within an organization.Experience building customized bitbucket-pipelines.yml syntax that can be used to auto-generate pipeline workflows at runtime from a set of tags and labels.Experience with best practices for managing code asynchronouslyExperience with RESTful APIs like Jira or ConfluenceKnowledge with familiarity with Node.js, and using a Node version manager, and Docker.Experience with cloud technologies and integrationsPrior involvement in large-scale deployment projects.Understanding of microservices architecture and deployment strategies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Stay abreast of emerging CI/CD technologies and best practices to maintain the platform's competitive edge and deliver continuous value.Health system or other highly regulated environment experience is preferred.APPLICATION PROCESSInterested candidates should apply and submit their resume.
