Research, Planning, and Evaluation PAY GRADE: OPER PayGrd Choose # of days worked LOCATION: Administration Annex DATE REVISED: 5/8/2025\r\nPRIMARY PURPOSE:\r\nFacilitate the efficient operation of an administrative department office and warehouse, utilizing our textbook inventory software to accurately add, edit, and adjust district-wide instructional materials based on campus needs.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS:\r\nEducation/Certification:\r\n* Education/Certification:\r\nHigh School Diploma or GED\r\n* Some College preferred, or applicable experience\r\n* Must be at least 18 years of age\r\nSpecial Knowledge/Skills:\r\n* Familiar with Frontline Instructional Materials Management System or similar inventory control programs.\r\n* Great attention to detail\r\nAbility to focus on the task at hand and work through interruptions\r\nDemonstrate a focused, hardworking attitude and commitment in the workplace\r\n* Knowledge of proper procedures for lifting and handling heavy materials and of safety standards\r\n* Effective organizational and time management skills\r\n* Ability to read, understand, and follow work orders, verbal, and written instructions\r\n* Ability to work with minimal supervision\r\nExperience:\r\n* One year work experience in similar job preferred\r\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:\r\n* Enter all data on new materials as received into the computer system as needed for initial submission through the appropriate inventory processing system.\r\n* Accurately control the designated amounts of materials needed for each campus, and properly input information into the inventory processing system.\r\n* Create requisitions and pick tickets for all campus distribution in the inventory processing system.\r\n* Make adjustments and corrections in the inventory processing system, as needed.\r\n* Receive current textbook adoptions from state; inventory and barcode for delivery to campuses.\r\n* Serve as helper on supply truck and unload merchandise into the warehouse.\r\n* Pick and fill orders from stock\r\n* Restock shelves as new merchandise is received\r\nDistribute textbooks and all instructional material to schools.\r\nInventory textbooks.\r\n* Package books to ensure products will not be separated in transit\r\n* Box books in a secure way to prevent damage\r\n* Keep work area in safe working order, clean, and free of litter.\r\n* Perform general cleaning and maintenance of warehouse, vehicles, and equipment.\r\nPick up old instructional materials and remove from campuses.\r\n* Discard out of adoption materials from warehouse and campuses, following procedure.\r\n* Other duties as assigned\r\nEQUIPMENT USED:\r\n* Chromebook/Computer\r\n* District vehicles\r\n* Use pallet jacks, dollies, ladders, scaffolding, and other similar warehouse equipment\r\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\r\nMental Demands\r\n* Maintain emotional control under stress\r\nPhysical Demands\r\n* Lifts 50-75 pounds frequently, 75-100 pounds occasionally, more than 100 pounds infrequently.\r\n* Climbs ladders, works in high places, works in cramped quarters, works in inclement weather and location (hot, cold, dry, and damp).\r\n* Walks, stands, kneels, stoops, bends, and squats for prolonged times.\r\n* Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job.\r\nEnvironmental Demands\r\nNormal warehouse
