You will play a pivotal role in supporting continuous improvement, new business initiatives, and capacity expansion projects within our cleanroom environment.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nBuild and modify precision assembly and/or manufacturing equipment.\n\nManage multiple projects with minimal supervision.\n\nPrepare accurate estimates for various tasks and projects.\n\nCoordinate capital projects, directly and through coordinating engineers.\n\nDrive continuous improvement activities across the department.\n\nCollaborate with plant and corporate groups, contractors, and vendors.\n\nCoordinate the initiation, troubleshooting, and commissioning phases for new manufacturing processes.\n\nManage equipment life cycle processes such as upgrades, replacement, and decommissioning.\n\nPerform product life cycle management tasks, including build changes, material changes, Supplier Notice of Change assessments, and specification changes.\n\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting to all plant departments.\n\nDemonstrate proactive communication and problem‑solving skills.\n\nSupport and achieve Value Improvement Projects (VIPs).\n\nAdhere to FDA Design Control standards and maintain all department operational guidelines.\n\nGenerate technical documents, reports, equipment specifications, and interpret technical drawings and schematics.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Computer Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.\n\nMinimum of 2 years in Engineering or Manufacturing; experience in FDA manufacturing is helpful.\n\nPreferred experience with automation controls, automated assembly, control systems, PLCs, HMIs, servos, and vision inspection systems.\n\nProficiency in software used to build models (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) preferred.\n\nSix Sigma Master Black Belt Certification or industry‑standard equivalent preferred.\n\nExperience in plastic injection molding is advantageous.\n\nProject Management skills and experience, including familiarity with Microsoft Project, are a plus.\n\nExperience and skills in Lean Manufacturing are helpful.\n\nCompensation\nEstimated base salary: $76,000 – $95,000 annually. Salary may vary based on location, skills, experience, and market data.
