Reporting to a Test Systems Manager, you will have a 9/80 schedule option with hybrid work (at least 3 days/week in the office) in Torrance, CA.\nAs a Project Engineering Section Head, you will:\nLead a team of Project Engineers assigned to oversee technical, cost and schedule performance for development programs.\nSupervise your direct reports, providing technical mentoring and training to develop your team’s competency, skills, and efficiency to meet test equipment engineering global standards.\nWork together with the Test Systems Leadership to assign engineers to projects as required and be accountable for your team’s performance in the execution of their project responsibilities.\nEnsure process compliance and participate in process development to improve efficiency and rigor.\nPerform performance reviews for assigned staff and participate in workforce planning and recruiting/hiring.\nIn addition to leadership responsibilities, the section head is also expected to serve as a direct individual contributor to assigned projects at 50 – 75% capacity.
