Working knowledge in most of these is preferred. • Candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis aspects of a project, calculations, contract documents, performing site visits and submittal review as well as evaluating existing structures and preparing reports.• Candidate will participate in marketing, strategic planning and proposal preparation support, mentoring junior staff and contribute to quality control and continuous improvement within the firm.Qualifications: • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in new construction, renovation/restoration and adaptive-reuse. • 15 to 20 years experience in building design, including preparation of construction documents, and construction administration.• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or structural engineering or architecture with an emphasis in structures from an ABET accredited university.• Licensed Structural Engineer• Demonstrated project management experience, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.• Candidate should be self motivated and a client oriented team player.  • Good technical writing skills are important. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. • Literate in typical structural design and analysis software including Finite Element.
