This role is central to embedding machine learning into the design and development of CPU diagnostic and test solutions. You will lead the creation of autonomous AI-driven systems for test execution, results analysis, and failure debugging, significantly improving the speed, accuracy, and effectiveness of CPU diagnostics across the product lifecycle\r\nTHE PERSON\r\nYou are a forward-thinking AI Software Architect with a strong passion for innovation in CPU diagnostics. You bring exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, paired with the ability to operate at both architectural and implementation levels. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential, as you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clearly convey complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while driving initiatives to successful completion.\r\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\r\n\r\nArchitect, design, and implement machine learning models and algorithms for CPU functional testing, manufacturing testing, and diagnostic applications.\r\nLead the integration of AI/ML techniques into existing and new test suites to enhance test coverage, fault detection, and diagnostic precision.\r\nDevelop and deploy autonomous agents that execute complex test scenarios, analyze large volumes of test data, and autonomously identify and debug CPU failures.\r\nCollaborate closely with CPU design, verification, and test engineering teams to understand architectural details and identify opportunities for AI-driven diagnostic improvements.\r\nEvaluate, select, and guide the adoption of appropriate AI/ML frameworks, tools, and technologies.\r\nDrive research, prototyping, and adoption of emerging AI methodologies applicable to CPU diagnostics.\r\nDefine and enforce best practices for code quality, scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability of AI-based diagnostic solutions.\r\nStay current with advances in AI, machine learning, and CPU architecture, and apply relevant innovations to diagnostic workflows.\r\n\r\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE\r\n\r\nProven experience architecting and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.\r\nDeep understanding of CPU architecture, functional validation, and manufacturing test methodologies.\r\nStrong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.\r\nExtensive hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.\r\nExperience with data analysis and visualization tools for large-scale datasets.\r\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.\r\nExperience with hardware-software co-design and system-level debugging.\r\nPublications or technical presentations in relevant AI/ML or CPU architecture forums are desirable.\r\nExperience applying reinforcement learning or other advanced AI techniques to autonomous systems.\r\n\r\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS\r\n\r\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\r\n\r\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\r\nLI-LC2\r\nLI-Hybrid\r\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\r\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
