The work includes creating technically accurate, enforceable documentation aligned with cybersecurity frameworks and organizational objectives.\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nDevelop and revise information security policies\nDevelop technical standards supporting approved security policies.\nDevelop operational procedures and implementation of guidance.\nCreate security baselines and configuration documentation.\nDevelop compliance documentation for technical accuracy, consistency, completeness, and enforceability.\nRecommend improvements to governance documentation structure and organization.\nProduce clear documentation suitable for technical staff, management, auditors, and external reviewers.\nWork with subject matter experts to accurately document existing processes and required controls.\nMaintain document version control and support periodic review.\nRequired Skills/Experience\nTechnical writing experience involving cybersecurity or IT governance.\nDemonstrated experience with several of the following:\nNIST Cybersecurity Framework\nNIST SP 800-53\nIRS Publication 1075\nCIS Critical Security Controls\nSecurity governance and risk management\nIdentity and Access Management\nIncident Response\nVulnerability Management\nDisaster Recovery and Business Continuity\nVendor Risk Management\nSecurity Awareness and Training\nPolicy Lifecycle Management\nPreferred/Not Required\nExperience writing documentation aligned with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, and IRS Publication 1075\nCISSP, CISA, CGRC, Security+, or equivelant certifications.\n\nVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
