Verify the implementation of new processes, and selection of equipment to be purchased. Resolve issues with quality plans, product design, manufacturability, or build process steps. Participate in adoption of new technologies and processes to achieve greater efficiency. Consults on selection and implementation of automation and robotics in assembly processes.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLayout and simulate manufacturing plans for new programs that will require new equipment or retool of existing equipment.\n\nModel operational environments, perform system simulations and recommend alternative architectures.\n\nPerform modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks assess system survivability, system effectiveness, and overall system performance in engagement / mission-level scenarios.\n\nBuild simulation library of standard equipment kinetics.\n\nLead the creation of plant layouts in 3D software.\n\nIdentify Gather all relevant product information, production rates and assembly requirements from customer contacts.\n\nPrepare and deliver presentations to gather necessary data and communicate intermediate and results.\n\nWork with other disciplines to ensure the necessary details related to the process and the model are fully coordinated.\n\nWork with other engineers and analysts to develop new and/or integrate existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models.\n\nWork with PC&L team to optimize material flow to production line.\n\nUse process simulation to design intent OEE.\n\nPromote health and safety in all phases of engineering and launch.\n\nMaintain equipment records by updating equipment database.\n\nProtect organization value by keeping information confidential, cautioning others regarding potential breaches.\n\nAbility to work well in a team environment and have a positive attitude.\n\nEffectively interact with, lead and develop people.\n\nTeach, lead, and continuously improve all areas of the business.\n\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor's or Graduate's Degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, computer sciences, or mechanical engineering.\n\nExperience: 3+ years of experience in assembly and/ or manufacturing and 2+ years of experience with manufacturing simulations.\n\nSupervisory experience in the manufacturing field is preferred\n\nTRAVEL:\nTravel Required: Minimal\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\nGeneral understanding of manufacturing processes, Android operations (sequencing, sub-assembly, shipping and receiving, and tooling).\n\nStrong knowledge of tooling, equipment, automation, engineering specifications, and cost reduction in automotive assembly applications.\n\nHigh level of analytical ability and problem-solving skills where problems are unusual and difficult.\n\nStrong decision-making skills with ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.\n\nProficient with GD&T process diagrams, PFMEA, and Control Plans\n\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\n\nHigh level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with all team members – manufacturing, engineering, executive leadership, etc.\n\nHigh level computer skills includingWindows applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\n\nProficiency with AutoCAD\n\nFluent in a variety of programming languages, software, scripting applications, and systems.\n\nAbility to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.\n\nExperience with Siemens Line Designer, Process Simulation, and Plant Simulation\n\nC+andC++experience\n\nBENEFITS:\nBlue Cross Blue Shield Medical\n\nDelta Dental\n\nVSP Vision\n\n401k Matching\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nPaid Time Off\n\nEmployee Assistance Program\n\nAdditional Competitive Benefits\n\nTRAITS/VALUES:\nRespect\n\nIntegrity\n\nPerseverance\n\nInnovation\n\nTeamwork\n\nBuilding A Better Culture\n\nWe build a better culture by putting people before profit, leading for purpose, passion and performance, and creating an environment devoted to an exceptional experience for our customers and people.
