Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.\n\nDescription:\nThis role reports to the Director, Enterprise Architecture and works closely with the Architecture, Security, Infrastructure and Application Development teams to provide overall architectural leadership for Security across company. This role will be responsible for providing technology direction for Security using Enterprise Architecture standards. This Security Architect must possess deep technology experiences in Security to build out the architecture vision, strategy and capability roadmap for his or her area of expertise.\n\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:\nDefines/executes the architecture vision, strategy, and capability roadmaps for:\nIdentity management\nIdentity Authentication and Authorization\nDirectory Services and single sign on\nThreat and Vulnerability Management\nSystem Audit\nSecurity Architecture Assurance\nAvailability\nAsset (Information) Protection\nFraud Prevention, Detection and Response\nIntegrated Governance, Compliance and Risk Management\nCreates and/or evolves the Security architecture function/program\nIdentifies and analyzes the Security business drivers to develop Security architecture requirements\nAnalyzes technology industry and market trends and determines potential impact upon security\nDevelops the Security architecture governance structure based on business and IT strategies\nImplements Security architecture and ongoing refinement activities\nDevelops and executes a communication plan (including education) for Security architecture standards\nActs as a sounding board for IT and business leaders in the development of solutions for Security needs\nBuilds and manages relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to effectively socialize and manage the Enterprise Security Architecture\nPartners with Operations teams on long-term solutions including Incident and Problem Management. Partner on performance issues as necessary, providing technical architecture leadership\nPartners with operations technology teams on strategies and approaches on securing control and SCADA networks\nPartners with physical (corporate) security teams and act as liaison between teams\nWorks collaboratively with IT operations team, service providers and local, state and federal agencies during incident response\nMay take on a Project Leader role for special enterprise-wide assignments\nA secure IT environment at an appropriate cost\nDrives future state of Cyber Security and Compliance Technologies\nEffective Security management processes and tools that protect the IT environment\nPublishes and effectively uses Security Architecture standards, frameworks, patterns and procedures\nBest practices for Security management incorporated into the software development lifecycle\nClear and effective communications of Security outcomes and processes\n\nRequired Qualifications for Position:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical (Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline) or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience\nMinimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology and/or experience in Security capabilities\nCompetency in Security practices across Business, Application, Information and Technical Architecture\nExperience developing future state architectures and a practical roadmap to get there\nLeadership in the space of information/data management, master data management data warehousing and business intelligence\nWorking knowledge of NIST, CIP, NERC, FERC and other energy industry security stands and best practices\nSecurity certifications strongly preferred\nStrong communication, influence and negotiation skills\nAbility to self-prioritize work effectively\nOpen to extensive travel on short notice\n\nPreferred Additional Qualifications for Position:\nWorking knowledge of business process re-engineering\nExperience with legacy and new computing architectures\nExperience developing multi-year strategic IT plans\nExperience applying ITIL\nExperience managing an effective reuse program across the enterprise\nExperience with managing service providers\n\nPrimary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
