You will work closely with our internal team, customers, and construction stakeholders to help translate real-world construction workflows into scalable technology solutions.You will bring hands-on construction knowledge, strong communication skills, and a self-starter mindset to help us understand project team pain points, support customer conversations, improve workflows, and contribute to the growth of a fast-moving construction technology company.This role is ideal for someone who has worked in construction, understands project documentation and coordination tools, and is excited about the future of AI in the built environment.What You’ll DoWork directly with construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, superintendents, procurement teams, and executives, to understand their workflows and pain points.Use your construction experience to help identify opportunities where technology can improve procurement, material tracking, project coordination, and operational efficiency.Support customer onboarding, workflow discovery, product feedback, and implementation conversations.Help translate field and office construction processes into clear product, process, and customer insights for the Krane team.Research construction companies, projects, market segments, and stakeholders to better understand how different teams manage procurement and project execution.Collaborate with product, operations, and leadership to refine messaging, workflows, and use cases for general contractors, subcontractors, and owner-buyers.Participate in customer meetings, demos, industry events, and site or office visits as needed.Bring a builder’s perspective to a technology company — helping ensure our platform solves real problems for real construction teams.Operate beyond your job description and help shape the way Krane grows across the construction industry.Who You AreYou have at least 2 years of experience in construction, project engineering, project coordination, field engineering, construction management, or a related role.You have used or are proficient with construction tools such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar platforms.You understand how construction projects are planned, coordinated, documented, and executed.You are passionate about technology, innovation, AI, and the future of the construction industry.You are a strong communicator who can speak comfortably with project teams, executives, vendors, and internal stakeholders.You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple conversations, tasks, and priorities at once.You are a self-starter who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and building processes from scratch.You are curious, coachable, and willing to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.You have low ego, high ownership, and a bias toward action.Bonus PointsExperience working for a general contractor, specialty subcontractor, owner’s rep, or construction management firm.Exposure to procurement, buyout, submittals, RFIs, material tracking, scheduling, or project controls.Experience with data centers, healthcare, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.Comfort working with executives, project teams, vendors, or external stakeholders.Interest in construction technology, SaaS, AI tools, workflow automation, or startup environments.Experience building processes, templates, dashboards, reports, or internal systems for a construction team.What We OfferCompetitive compensation Meaningful equity in an early-stage, venture-backed company.Medical Insurance.Learning and development support for construction, technology, and professional growth.Opportunity to work directly with founders, builders, and industry leaders.A high-energy Austin-based team where your ideas matter and your work has immediate impact.The chance to help define how AI transforms one of the world’s largest industries.LocationThis is an on-site role based in Austin, Texas.
