Although we operate independently, we are part of the Schunk Group, a worldwide company headquartered in Germany, with over one billion in sales annually and diverse operations in 29 different countries.\nThe Opportunity\nWe have an opening for a 1st shift experienced Mechanical Assembler who will assemble, build, and refurbish pantographs for the transit industry. A pantograph is a large transit assembly used to collect electrical current for electric trains, trolleys, subway cars and battery powered vehicles such as e-buses. Pantograph manufacturing requires close tolerances, strict quality inspection, skilled fitting of parts using a variety of power tools, air tools and basic machine shop equipment.
