A better future?\r\nWe're Lear For You.\r\nJob Description\r\nPreventive maintenance on equipment, such as check lubrication levels\r\nfill and grease, clean and pump press pans. Run recycle equipment, clean\r\nand paint equipment. Assist some job set-ups where certain adjustments\r\nmay be required which would be outside the scope of set-up associates.\r\nProvide assistance to Production Supervisor to train associates regarding\r\nnew or modified equipment. Perform other duties related to maintenance as required by supervisor.\r\nJob Requirements\r\nStrong ability to use independent judgment in determining work processes\r\nand actual job performed.\r\nBasic level of demonstrated competence in electricity/electronics, hydraulic/pneumatics, individual components, system and control configurations, associated schematics and documentation.\r\nBasic mechanical knowledge, welding, plumbing, and machining.\r\nDesign and layout electrical distribution systems for the installation of equipment.\r\nDesign and layout plumbing systems (air, water, etc.) for the installation of equipment.\r\nPerform troubleshooting for all equipment.\r\nPerform repairs (to factory technology level) of air compressors.\r\nPerform electrical repairs of all equipment.\r\nPerform mechanical repairs (up to factory technology level) of all equipment.\r\nPerform gas, arc, and heli-arc welding on various equipment.\r\nPerform adjustments of vision systems and fiber optic systems.\r\nWrite technical data for set-up, checking, and troubleshooting.\r\nPerform other duties as required by supervisor.\r\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\r\nKnowledge of arithmetic is required\r\nBasic skills in oral and written communication\r\nComply with all Environment, Health, and Safety {EH&S}rules and procedures.\r\nComputer skills - Use of CMM, Equipment software (PLC, OPI), OFFICE S/W\r\nState certified DOL journeyman's card/UAW maintenance machine repair card\r\nWorking Conditions\r\nDegree of Physical Demands (Strength) usually associated with this classification:\r\nModerate to Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, or 10 to 20 pounds constantly. Poundage varies tremendously due to diversity of duties. Involves walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching on a frequent basis. Involves climbing up to a height of approximately 25 feet.\r\nEnvironmental conditions (Physical Surroundings) usually associated with this classification:\r\nThe associate is subject to environmental conditions common to a plant environment, including cramped conditions between presses and enclosures.
