Job Description Job Title: Brewery Kitchen Staff MemberCompany Summary:Lore Brewing Company is a small brewery and taproom located in Indian Land SC, short drive from Rock Hill, Fort Mill, or anywhere in South Charlotte. Our taproom is looking for energetic and knowledgeable staff to help us bring to life our vision of a tied beer and food experience to the South Charlotte area. At Lore we have a tight knit team and plan to keep that environment the same. Our kitchen will be run in much the same manner as our front of house operations. We value individuals over a more corporate kitchen and are looking for someone who has the same creative energy as we do to come in on the ground floor and help build this taproom to have the best food and beer options in the Charlotte area.Job DescriptionOur team is looking for an energetic creative teammate who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty in the kitchen. This position will be an evolving kitchen position where an individual would be able to start off as a line cook and over time as their experience grows, their responsibility would grow as well. Starting pay would be based on experience in the industry and would grow along with job responsibilities. Night and weekend availability is required, 25-30 hours per week.Job Summary· Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.· Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces and other items.· Cooks food items using a convection oven, cooktop, panini press, and other equipment.· Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.· Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.· Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.Job Requirements· Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be able to stand for an entire shift (shift time ranges from 6 hour to 9 hours as needed)· Kitchen experience is required.· Food Handler Certificate required (may be obtained after hire)Other Information· Position will be considered for increased pay range and other incentives based upon candidate experience, time at position, and performance.Company DescriptionLore Brewing Company is a brewery that believes in producing quality approachable and eccentric beers for beer lovers of all kinds.
