This role is focused on technical documentation, information presentation, data communication, and translating complex material into reports, guides, presentations, graphics, and other stakeholder-ready content. The position supports a high-visibility national security customer and requires on-site work within 50 miles of McLean, Virginia.\n\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze technical, program, and data-related information and convert it into clear reports, presentations, guides, and documentation.\nWrite, review, revise, and maintain technical articles, manuals, reports, brochures, and other informational products.\nTranslate technical concepts into understandable business language for technical and non-technical audiences.\nDevelop white papers, executive summaries, talking points, memoranda, briefings, and presentation materials.\nProduce field definitions, data definitions, data-flow documentation, and other data-related reference materials.\nSupport documentation for software engineering, systems engineering, system operations, testing, hardware, and end users.\nCreate installation, configuration, implementation, and how-to guides.\nCoordinate document formatting, graphics, technical drawings, and final production.\nCapture business requirements and help translate them into technical specifications.\nDraft and edit materials related to data policy, data governance, data sharing, analysis, and interoperability.\nWork with technical subject-matter experts to gather, validate, and organize information.\nRequired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and ability to meet customer access requirements, including CI polygraph requirements.\nStrong writing, editing, grammar, formatting, and document-production skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical or data-related information.\nMeet one of the following education and experience combinations:\nHigh school diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant experience\nAssociate degree and 4 years of relevant experience\nBachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience\nMaster’s degree and no additional experience required\nQualifying experience must have occurred within the past 15 years.\n\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience developing technical documentation, executive briefings, user guides, data definitions, process documentation, or requirements materials.\nExperience supporting software, systems engineering, data governance, IT operations, testing, or federal program environments.\nExperience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, or similar tools to develop polished technical and visual products.\n\nCompany Overview\nOps Tech Alliance (OTA) was founded by former National Security and Special Operations professionals with over 100 years of combined experience and was formed with a singular focus: to bridge the gap between operations and technology to enable mission success.
