Barobo's Linkbot and RoboBlocky technologies and its integrated curriculum for all levels of TK-12 are specifically designed for classroom and distance learning of math, computer science, and STEAM.Barobo is in a high-growth stage and is seeking an EdTech Sales & Content Specialist, to be based at our main office in Davis, CA. In this role you will assist in promoting and supporting Barobo's products and work with school districts, primarily in California and nearby states. This role focuses on educator engagement, program awareness, demos, and adoption support.PLEASE NOTE: This is not a remote position. Candidates must live within reasonable commuting distance of Davis, CA, where Barobo's main office is located, or be willing to relocate.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a deep knowledge of Barobo's products and solutions—curriculum, pedagogy, and technologyPromote Barobo's products and curriculum to school districts via email, phone, in-person appointments, conferences, and online and in-person pre-sales presentationsDiscover new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emailsResearch and identify potential contacts in school districts and countiesDevelop and support Barobo's relationships with district and school administratorsUpdate sales and marketing resources and contacts in spreadsheets and documentsTrack responses to emails, phone calls, and other marketing effortsAttentively listen to customer feedback and provide insights to the Barobo teamAnswer email and phone as needed for customer supportPerform other related duties as assigned in a team environmentRequirementsBachelor's degree (quantitative or STEM field preferred)Knowledgeable about and comfortable with high school math up through pre-calculusExcellent presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh degree of organization and self-motivationEnergetic, persuasive, flexible, and desire to work in a fast paced environmentMust be willing and able to travel up to 40-50% (vehicle and valid driver's license required; both local and distance travel, mainly in California and nearby states, plus national conferences)Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Davis, CA, or be willing to relocateK-12 education experience is a plusPrevious sales and/or customer relations experience is a plusExperience with Arduino and/or educational robotics is a plusMust be US citizenSalary range: $60,000-$90,000Health, dental, and vision insurance401(K) with company matchPaid vacationSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustriesPrimary and Secondary EducationJ-18808-Ljbffr
