The Programming Coordinator will contribute to the strategic scheduling of commercial formats based on contractual deal points to maximize viewership, value, and revenue. The role will be to work with various internal teams including Programming Planning & Acquisitions, Revenue Management, Sales, Finance, Marketing and Production.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAcquire and manage commercial format information for development and implementation within Format Application and Content Scheduler systems.\nCreate commercial formats with precise sales, promotional, and contractual data.\nProvide network coordination and prepare the daily Day of Air Report.\nParticipates in assessing the efficiencies and maximization of commercial formats for sports and events, with suggestions on format changes if needed.\nWorks as a member of the Programming Department at large to contribute to the overall network strategy for the company. Proactively contribute innovative ideas to continue to grow our business.\nAssists with the accurate and timely format assignment during the yearly Ad Sales UpFront process.\nComplete specific projects as assigned by management.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nMinimum 1 year of television programming, production, sales, or related experience.\nStrong knowledge of sports, sports business, and/or media marketplace.\nExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work on multiple networks at the same time and prioritize accordingly.\nStrong interpersonal and written communication skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nMinimum 2 years of television programming, production, sales, or related experience.\nKnowledge of Format Application or Content Scheduler system a plus.\n\nRequired Education:\n\nBachelor’s degree in communications, business, or sport management or a related field.\n\nAdditional Information:\n\nRelocation assistance is not provided for this role.\n\n#ESPNMedia\n\nThe hiring range for this position in Bristol, CT is $54,000.00 to $72,300.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
