OverviewRegistered Nurse - PCU in Bangor, ME. This 13-week travel assignment starts April 13, 2026. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $2,083 to $2,256. Shift: Days, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. You’ll provide care in an inpatient Progressive Care Unit within a healthcare setting under the supervision of leadership on the unit.Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,083–$2,256 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.) Start date: April 13, 2026 Setting: Inpatient PCU in Bangor, MEResponsibilities Deliver direct patient care for adults in the PCU, including telemetry monitoring and ongoing assessments Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor patient responses and document care Collaborate with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse and Unit Director to ensure safe, efficient shift operations and effective patient flow Develop and adjust care plans based on patient status, lab results, and multidisciplinary input Maintain compliance with the Maine Board of Nursing regulations and facility policies; ensure patient safety and quality of care Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the health care team; provide patient education as appropriateRequirements Active Maine RN license BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire Telemetry experience preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient PCU setting and collaborate with a diverse care team Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adhere to assignment termsBenefits and Support 36 guaranteed hours per week on a travel assignment 13-week assignment with a defined start date Day shift schedule (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.) in a PCU setting Orientation available (up to 16 hours, unpaid) Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract Support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the assignmentFind more opportunitiesTo view other openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
