We are just getting started!Job Characteristics:This position will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring timely and correct resultsProblem solving and decision making will be required on a regular basis in area of expertiseCross functionality in knowledge of machining, cutting and product development will be neededJob Responsibilities:Focus on Continuous Improvement in area of responsibilityPrepare and maintain machining equipment in a production environmentMonitor rates, feeds, speeds and make improvements to optimize processingReduce scrapTrain lower skilled machining operatorsUse logic to problem solve and make decisions in area of responsibility on a regular basisMonitor machining equipment maintenance and safetyWork with engineering to develop fixtures and processes for new productsOther tasks as assigned by the managerQualifications:Technical Certification in related field3-5 Years Manufacturing with experience in operation of precision machining equipment for the production of manufacturing partsAssociate degree a plus
