{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a4c49d29ce2c35ae4aee40eb","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a4c49d29ce2c35ae4aee40eb","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a4c49d29ce2c35ae4aee40eb","title":"Quality Technician","description":"Quality TechnicianAs a Quality Technician, you will:Perform product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs, first article inspections and calibration, inspecting flat blank layouts, out of box audit (OBA) and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials.Ensure raw materials, in process and finished products meet company standards.Audit processes, test and inspect products and/or develop, compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.Working from engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform complex engineering testing, checkout, First Article Inspection, root cause analysis, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.Select processes to be audited from primarily the manufacturing areas and check for a variety of features, including ESD (electro-static discharge) and handling practices, documentation, training and process integrity.Select products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process, and test products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical, electrical or cosmetic characteristics.Records audit data, applying statistical quality control procedures.Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards, programs or reports to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.Perform calibration on inspection tools e.g. micrometers, calipers height gages etc.Maintain gage track program, print list of gages due for calibration in the beginning of each month and follow up with calibration.Send gages out for calibration, maintain calibration recordsPrepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis.Download quality information from quality system to be used for QA reports.Analyzes engineering test results and implements process changes to resolve problems.Performs out of box audits (OBA) as requiredProvides factory support to identify and resolve issues associated with purchased parts, materials and manufacturing.May be required to perform receiving inspectionSchedule: Monday - Friday1st shift - 6am-2:30pm2nd shift - 2:30pm-11pm The ideal candidate will have:Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.Must be able to read and comprehend in EnglishPayrate: $28.00- $33.00 per hour DOE -
