This role is responsible for driving the architecture behind high-performance data synchronization, ensuring the long-term reliability and scalability of integrations, and helping us transform hiring through automation and intelligence.What Success Looks LikeBuilding and maintaining integrations with external vendors using TypeScript and NodeDesigning an ATS architecture that:Supports high-performance ATS data synchronizationMinimizes regressions through strong automated and regression testingIs extensible and capable of scaling as the platform growsCoaching and guiding members of the API team through technical leadership and best practicesOwning and maintaining ATS integrations over the long term, ensuring reliability and performanceAbout You15+ years of experience in software development5+ years of experience operating at a Staff Engineer levelExperience building integrations with ATS platforms or handling large-scale dataset ingestionAlternatively, strong experience designing and operating ETL processesProven experience building high-performance, reliable APIsFamiliarity with integration platforms such as Merge or KomboExperience leading large, multi-layered technical projectsStrong background in test-driven development and automated testing practicesDeep experience within the TypeScript / Node.js ecosystemDemonstrated ability to work at a detailed level with multiple cross-functional internal stakeholdersExperience with recruiting ATS platforms and/or HR technologyBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experienceWho ThrivesEnjoys collaborating with talented, supportive teammatesIs friendly, approachable, and always willing to lend a helping handCan create clarity and direction in ambiguous environmentsIs humble and comfortable acknowledging and learning from mistakesIs highly curious and largely self-taught across multiple domainsFeels energized by difficult problems and complex systemsValues ownership, impact, and the ability to directly influence outcomes____________________________________________________________Disclaimer: Calyptus uses an automated assessment tool that scores applicants.Want to put your job search on autopilot?
