Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens with a TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph.\n\nResponsibilities:\nLead innovative development and enhancement of radio frequency (RF) signal processing capabilities.\nFacilitate integration of new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors.\nAnalyze user requirements, concepts of operations, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirement specifications.\nAnalyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.\nGuide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.\nProvide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.\nIncorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.\nDevelop system architecture and design documentation.\nInteract with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.\nCommunicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.\nManage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.\nContribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.\nAssist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.\nCoordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.\nParticipate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.\nAllocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and components.\nGenerate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions.\nDefine the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems, and work products are verified against their requirements.\nDevelop system design solutions that satisfy system requirements and fulfill functional analysis.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nExceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to MTSI's core values.\n7+ years of experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity (i.e., 20-100 personnel).\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nStrong customer service skills; being able to work with personnel across multiple disciplines and organizations.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.\nAbility to work well independently and within a team.\nExperience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools.\nAgile framework experience (i.e., Scrum, etc.).\n\nQualifications Desired:\nProficiency with Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or similar SysML tools.\nExperience using tools like Python and SQL.\nExperience with cloud computing platforms like; Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS GovCloud.\nExperience with ETL frameworks.\n\nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.\n5+ years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.\n\nCertifications Requirements:\nINCOSE ASEP or similar systems engineering certification desired.\n\nClearance Requirements:\nTS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.\n\nThe pay range for this position is $125,000 to $190,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
