Determine if the inquiry/RFQ/solicitation is an Inside Sale or standard new business opportunity and initiate the appropriate process\nProcess Inside Sale RFQs, to include identification of any additional requirements such as first article to ensure they are priced, and ensure timely submission of a compliant quotation approved by Pricing, the Program Manager, and Business Development management (and Leadership team for catalog pricing over $1M)\nUpon receipt of a Purchase Order or contract resulting from an Inside Sales quotation, notify Contracts and Program Management to ensure a well-coordinated transition and timely start to the project and internal work flows. This includes informing Contracts when an Inside Sales Demand to Order (DTO) workflow is needed for a Release to Buy. Determines when approval steps can be modified to simplify the process and minimize the cost to process the order\nWork with Program Managers and planners to develop plans to sell inventory parts, subassemblies, or spares to existing and new customers\nRecommend inventory and assembly stocking plans for future sales based on order history and customer needs\nIdentify sales and inventory issues, risks, or opportunities to the Program Managers for consideration\nActively maintain and expand sales prospect database and opportunities\nProvide backup support for standard new business opportunity management\nRecommend and/or lead efforts to improve existing business processes and initiatives\nPerform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization\n\nSkills & Abilities:\n\nStrong communication, analytical, and organizational skills to work within and between integrated teams and perform a variety of tasks in a dynamic team environment.\nStrong proofreading and editing skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, ERP systems, and databases.\nAbility to work independently; a ‘self-starter’ that requires little supervision once given a task.\nAbility to manage time efficiently while working on multiple assignments.\nPossesses a willingness to learn new processes and evolving ones, as well as the ability to assist in the training of others.\nAbility to balance multiple projects and work to meet deadlines.\nAbility to work with teams and individuals of varying working styles.\n\nQualifications:\n\nAssociate degree from accredited institution or 5 years of business experience.\nA minimum of two (2) years in a supporting role in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.\nPrior experience in a sales, business development, customer service, or marketing role.\nUnderstanding of FAR and DFAR preferred.\n\nWork Environment:\n\nOffice Environment: Requires physical capability to work in an office environment including sit/stand up to 9 hours a day and use basic office tools such as a computer, copier/printer, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nHours: 1st shift.
