ASCP Radiology Technologist - Cath Lab Specialist
Join a dedicated healthcare team providing personalized, high-quality patient care in a cardiovascular catheterization lab setting. This role involves preparing patients and procedure rooms, circulating during all cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring safety principles are strictly followed. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary health professionals to support both invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular interventions. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care and monitor physical, mental, and emotional conditions, reporting any changes promptly. Assist in circulating during cardiovascular procedures, maintaining compliance with privacy regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI). For Registered Nurses, provide procedural sedation according to policy and monitor/document all cardiovascular procedures. Prepare and manage equipment and supplies essential for cardiovascular interventions. Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or accredited nursing program. Preferred: Minimum of one year experience in a catheterization lab environment. Licenses and Certifications Current licensure as a radiology technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Registered Nurse. Healthcare Provider BLS certification through AHA or ARC prior to start date. ACLS certification required within six months of hire. Required Skills and Attributes Strong communication and multitasking abilities with effective keyboarding and computer skills.
