Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Chief Medical Officer located in the San Francisco Bay Area, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Chief Medical Officer will lead Mednevo’s medical strategies, oversee medical affairs, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and drive innovative healthcare initiatives. Responsibilities include overseeing utilization management processes, collaborating with stakeholders on managed care programs, guiding strategic planning efforts, and ensuring the highest quality of medical services. The role also involves contributing to the continuous improvement of Mednevo’s AI-powered healthcare solutions. Qualifications Strong expertise in Medicine, supported by a medical degree (MD or DO) and active medical licenseExperience in Utilization Management and Managed Care practicesProven leadership in Medical Affairs and strategic healthcare operationsExcellent skills in Strategic Planning and healthcare innovationOutstanding communication, leadership, and decision-making abilitiesIn-depth knowledge of healthcare policies, regulations, and complianceExperience in working with technology-driven healthcare solutions is a plus
