We value and celebrate the team's efforts to move our company forward through incremental advances and breakthrough achievements.\nThe Assembler will be responsible for assemble, laps seats, sets and test product per manufacturer standards, completes test reports, seals and tags valves. THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT - 2pm - 10pm, M-F, overtime as needed.\nRequirements\nTrim Teflon\nClean rupture disc and holder parts\nCut outside diameters of rupture discs\nSpot weld components\nOperate presses and other required equipment\nUse co-bots and other automated and robotic equipment\nProof pressure and leak tests\nInspect completed rupture disc assemblies to verify that they conform to specifications\nAssemble units and prepare them for shipping\nPerform any listed essential functions in a high-volume repetitive manner when required\nUtilize and supervise the performance of automated machines\nAssist in troubleshooting and diagnosing machine performance issues\nComply with company productivity and quality requirements\nOperate forklift when and as needed\nPerform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need\nEDUCATION:\nHigh school diploma or GED\n1-3 months work experience in a production environment. Previous experience in a production position at CDC is preferred.\nTECHNICAL/FUNCTION SPECIFIC:\nAbility to read blueprints\nBasic math and reading skills\nComputer skills\nWorking knowledge of industrial equipment used to produce rupture discs\nBEHAVORIAL:\nWillingness and ability to follow all manufacturing procedures and company policies\nAttention to detail\nConcern for quality, accuracy and safety\nAbility to stay on task and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines\nPositive attitude and ability to work well with others, including peers, supervisors, executive management and outside vendors, representatives and visitors when called upon\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMotor skills sufficient to successfully and safely use required tools and machinery\nAbility to stand and/or walk for majority of scheduled shift, typically 8-10 hours per day, though possibly more when overtime is required\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as needed\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and 401K with Match eligible day one.
