This reputation is a result of superior quality of our products and our people.Utility MechanicThe Utility Mechanic is responsible for effective, safely operations of site facilities, including facility waste treatment, industrial boilers, air compressors, water softeners, chillers, cooling towers and HVAC systems. This position will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to analyze, recommend, implement, troubleshoot, upgrade, improve and repair various equipment to support the tasks assigned.Responsibilities Systematically diagnoses equipment failures. Dismantles, repairs and reassembles complex equipment Routinely performs work with electricians. Directs work of helpers as required. Completes routine paperwork as required. Provides and uses typical mechanic's tools and inspection gauges. Works from drawings, written check sheets, verbal instructions or sketches. Uses common shop math. Cleans debris and lubricant from parts, work area, and equipment. Operates equipment to check work as required. Coordinates and cooperates with Operations and other maintenance crews. Perform assigned GMP activities in the individual’s work area as defined. Clean up messes or other housekeeping issues as soon as reasonable; this will include an overall ‘clean as you go’ mentality. Report any known or discovered contamination or other food safety risk to product to their direct supervisor immediately.
