Job portal All vacanciesPart-time Lecturer at Department of Clinical MedicineDepartment of Clinical Medicine at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen seeks to employ a Part-time Lecturer in a 3-year position as of 1st October 2026 for teaching and student supervision, primarily in the course Evidence Based Clinical Application of Personalised Medicine.Teaching at other courses may be possible upon agreement.The Part-time Lecturer will be responsible for planning and conducting teaching, examinations and other forms of student assessment.AboutThe Master’s Programme in Personalised Medicine is aimed at graduates in health sciences (e.g., medical doctors), natural/biological sciences, engineering, etc., and to a lesser extent at candidates with a background in social sciences, law, the humanities, or similar fields.The programme provides participants with a foundation for working with diagnostics, treatment, and research in personalised medicine and is based on multidisciplinary collaboration between various professional groups.For further information about the programme, see Master in Personalised Medicine – University of Copenhagen (Danish only).Required QualificationsApplicants for the Part-time Lecturer position must have obtained an educational level equivalent to a master’s degree, as well as:employment in an academic principal position at another university, orrelevant practical experience at a high level which has not been gained through academic employment at a university.Documented teaching activities and positive student evaluations will be considered an asset.Terms of employmentThe position will be filled in accordance with the Circular on the agreement on Part-time Lecturers at universities et al. under the Ministry of Higher Education and Science (Ministry of Education) of 16 March 2022, agreed between the Ministry of Taxation and the Academics (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) (Danish only).Furthermore, the employment is covered by the rules concerning Part-time Lecturers as described in the Job structure for academic staff at universities of 2025 (Danish only).The position is a fixed-term position limited to a period of 3 years.The total number of hours may not exceed 500 hours per annum.
