Our hybrid approach is designed to foster strong collaboration while also supporting flexibility and individual success.About The JobThis role will work in our Phoenix Home Office - Visa sponsorship is not availabie for this roleThe Senior Automation Developer is responsible for independently designing, developing, and supporting scalable automation solutions that optimize and streamline enterprise business processes. This role serves as a senior technical contributor within the automation team, leading complex workflow initiatives end-to-end from requirements and design through deployment and operational support.Core Responsibilities:Automation DevelopmentWork with the automation team and key stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and design optimal solutionsIndependently lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex automation solutions with minimal oversightBuild and maintain reliable workflows leveraging software including UiPath, Alteryx, Databricks, Snowflake, and related intelligent automation capabilitiesSupport production deployments, monitoring, and root-cause analysis to ensure workflow stability and operational reliabilityMaintenance & SupportIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issuesConduct workflow testing (positive/negative scenarios) and document resultsCreate process documentation, workflow diagrams, and technical specifications Develop enhancement requests for existing automationsCollaborationWork collaboratively with business partners to deliver automation solutions in a reasonable timeframeLead workflow design discussions with business partnersCommunicate progress and risks clearly to automation team and business partnersSupport junior developers in their design and development efforts through technical guidance and reviews of workflows & technical designsTechnical SkillsProficiency in automation tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, or similar toolsWorking knowledge of SQL and Python preferredFamiliarity with cloud data platforms and API integrationsStrong understanding of enterprise data structures, process design, and scalable data processing conceptsQualifications & Education4+ years of automation design, development and implementation experience Effective communication skills (oral and written) and be able to work well with team members, stakeholders, etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExhibit dependability, a positive attitude, and attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fieldAdditional Job ConsiderationsThis role requires collaboration, teamwork, and face-to-face interaction with colleagues, leaders, and/or clients.Being in the office ensures access to leaders, cross-functional partners, and resources necessary to make timely decisions and drive results.On-site presence in accordance with our FlexSmart policy supports our culture of innovation, mentorship, and engagement, which is integral to our success in developing the best team.
