You’ll program proprietary equipment to manufacture custom interconnect products and extremely small, high-precision components requiring steady hands, attention to detail, and expertise in micro-engineering processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nSet up and operate proprietary equipment to manufacture parts that meet engineering specifications.\nProgram and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems.\nAssemble and inspect components and subassemblies, ensuring precise fit and functionality.\nPerform in-process and final inspections using precision tools and microscopes, adjusting as needed, while maintaining applicable documentation.\nMaintain equipment, ensuring minimal machine downtime and machine optimization.\nProvide accurate and timely production and quality logs, machine records, programming changes and quality control findings.\nIdentify and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications & Requirements\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.\nTechnical degree or certification in CNC machining, PLC programming, or related fields preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC machines and programming PLC systems required.\nExperience in assembly and quality control processes in a manufacturing environment required.\nTool grinding experience preferred.\nProficiency in machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.\nAbility to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges and microscope.\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.\nExcellent dexterity to work with extremely small parts.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.\nKnowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 20 pounds.\nAbility to sit for long periods, bend, and reach.\nMust be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and other physical demands.\nAbility to work effectively using a microscope for long periods of time.\nBenefits\nHealthcare benefits\nFully paid life insurance\nHealth Savings Account with company contribution\n401(k) employer match\nPaid Vacation and Paid Holidays\nGrowth and Development Opportunities\nPositive culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion\nQnnect and its affiliated companies are affirmative action/equal opportunity employers.
