We are a 100% remote company with a flexible, collaborative work culture. How you came into the field doesn’t matter, and a degree is not required. What matters is that you’re a proven problem-solver whose work speaks for itself.\n\nThe Role\n\nWe’re looking for a PHP Developer with at least 5 years of web application development experience to join our engineering team. This is an evergreen contractor position with a clear path to full-time hire for the right candidate.\n\nQualifications\n5+ years of professional web application development experience\nProficiency in PHP and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in Laravel, Drupal, React, and Vue.js; WordPress experience is a plus\nFamiliarity with macOS development environments and comfort with Linux, Git, and Agile methodologies\nSolid understanding of MVC, OOP, FRP, and RESTful web service patterns\nExperience working with relational databases, preferably SQL and MySQL\nPractical experience with Lando and/or Docker-based development environments\nStrong problem-solving skills with a positive, versatile attitude\nAbility to work independently and take personal ownership of your work\nResponsibilities\nWrite clean, high-quality code across multiple technology stacks and projects\nTake full ownership of feature development on assigned projects\nPrioritize and resolve bugs efficiently to keep clients moving\nKeep the engineering team and clients informed of development progress\nCollaborate with fellow engineers to design and build new features and solutions\nBring creative, pragmatic thinking to engineering challenges\nPartner with team managers on sprint priorities and your own professional growth\nHelp foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and technical leadership\nInterview Process\n\nThis position starts as a contractor role with the potential for permanent hire.
