This role combines product ownership and delivery management to drive the development of Final Expense offerings, ensuring seamless integration with policy administration platforms, third-party data providers, and customer-facing applications. The role requires strong expertise in life insurance products, digital underwriting, insurance data standards, and Agile delivery, with the ability to align business goals, customer experience, and technical execution.Required Skills & Qualifications5–10 years of experience in Product Management / Product Ownership and Project Management (insurance or insurtech preferred)Strong knowledge of life insurance lifecycle: Policy administration, Underwriting, Issuance and servicingExperience with Final Expense / Simplified Issue products and Digital life insurance platforms (Ethos, Ladder, Haven Life models)Hands-on experience with Policy administration systems, Carrier integrations, and API-based architecturesFamiliarity with ACORD standards and insurance data exchangeStrong Agile/Scrum experienceExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsPrior work experience at client or in client's IndustryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with platforms such as Guidewire, FAST, Vitech, CyberLife, Salesforce or CRM-driven insurance ecosystemsKnowledge of Third-party data integrations (MIB, LexisNexis, Rx data, etc.) and Digital underwriting and rules enginesExposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps / CI-CD pipelinesUnderstanding of insurance regulatory and compliance requirementsDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Final Expense offeringsLead end-to-end product development, including policy structure, underwriting rules, and feature enhancementsCollaborate with engineering teams, UX/design teams, carrier partners, and underwriting and compliance teamsDrive customer journey optimization: Quote → eApplication → underwriting → issuanceManage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for product launches and enhancementsCoordinate cross-functional teams: Engineering, Compliance, Marketing, SalesTrack progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely deliveryFacilitate communication between product, engineering, and operations teamsLead Agile ceremonies: Sprint planning, Backlog grooming, Release planningCompany Benefits & CultureComprehensive health and wellness benefitsOpportunities for professional growth and developmentInclusive and dynamic work environment
