{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a448dfc06b630aa522ae1d90","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a448dfc06b630aa522ae1d90","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a448dfc06b630aa522ae1d90","title":"Devops Engineer","description":"Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or have a greencard status.\n\nTriTech Enterprise Systems (TriTech) is seeking \"Applications Development Experts (DevOps)\" to provide expert-level technical services in the areas of planning, development, continuous integration, and continuous deployments for enterprise-level applications and custom integrated solutions, including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features for the Health Benefit Exchange (HBX) solutions and other systems.\n\nDuties / Responsibilities:\nWork with the development, testing, and operations teams and other DevOps engineers in setting up and maintaining the Maryland Health Connection system, application, and all related components in Cloud and traditional infrastructure.\nProvide technical support to Application Development teams to aid the consumption of Cloud services and ensure adherence to CI/CD pipeline patterns and standards.\nCollaborate and consult with infrastructure and system operations teams to help automate the end-to-end Operations of the applications and systems in AWS Cloud.\nDesign, build, maintain, document, and automate technical processes and operations using AWS cloud services.\nWork with other DevOps team members to build tools and automation to configure/deploy/maintain our cloud technologies in AWS Cloud.\nWork on several tools in implementing and deploying CI/CD solutions in AWS Cloud, such as Ansible, EC2, ELB, Jenkins, Git, Docker, S3, etc.\nUnderstand and consistently apply the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.\nBuild, maintain, and monitor configuration standards.\nDevelop standards and codebase to monitor and alert various cloud-based systems and applications to help ensure SLAs and other performance metrics are met.\nMonitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and debug.\nUtilize a variety of platforms to provide automated and integrated systems and applications.\nProvide technical input to the most complex and high-impact IT decisions for integrated solutions.\nAccountable for complex enterprise-wide applications and issues, translating highly complex technical concepts into requirements and solutions for peers.\nAssist with integration testing and work with business teams to complete acceptance testing.\nParticipate in technical reviews during various stages of software and application development.\nAdhere to all security, change control, and MHBE Project Management Office (PMO) policies, processes, and methodologies.\nNote: The candidate must be flexible to work overtime as needed, including weekends, holidays, and off-hours.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEight (8) years of experience designing, developing, maintaining, or supporting enterprise information technology platforms, applications, or solutions.\nFive (5) years of hands-on experience with DevOps processes in a cloud environment, preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS).\nFive (5) years of experience in automated configuration and deployment using tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, or other Infrastructure as Code (IAC) frameworks.\nFour (4) years of experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Automation, and Orchestration.\nFour (4) years of experience working with infrastructure design and deployment of applications in Amazon Cloud (AWS).\nTwo (2) years of experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, and Scripting.\nStrong knowledge of the AWS cloud computing platform – EC2, S3 (Object Storage), VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), Lambda, EBS (Block Storage under high I/O), ELB (Elastic Beanstalk - load-balancing and autoscaling), ECS, EKS, CloudFormation for AWS Orchestration, CloudWatch, and RedShift.\nExperience with the app and web server configuration and maintenance (JBoss, Apache Tomcat, or similar).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFive (5) years of design, development, implementation, or maintenance experience with complex applications for health exchange systems, eligibility systems, or equivalent.\nThree (3) years of software development experience with government Cloud deployments supporting high-volume, high-quality consumer applications.\nExperience with AWS services like CloudFormation, IAM Policies, EC2, Lambda, S3, Glacier, Multi-Region VPC, Route53, Security Groups, ALB/ELB/NLB, API GW, WAF, Shield, KMS, CloudTrail, Config, CloudWatch, Config, Kinesis.\nHands-on experience with technologies like Docker, Git, NGINX. RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, VPC, Kubernetes.\nExperience working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases in cloud environments.\nExperience with Identity Provider (IDP) and Identity Access Management (IAM) technologies and solutions.\nExperience with scripting such as Ruby, Python, or Bash.\nStrong knowledge of Microservice and SOA architectures.\nFamiliarity with various traditional and innovative
