The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and engineering skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach to problem-solving.\nKey Responsibilities\nApplications & Technical Support\nProvide technical support to the sales team and customers, including product recommendations, performance evaluations, and troubleshooting.\nAssist in developing technical documentation, data sheets, and customer presentations.\nMaintain accurate laboratory records and prepare technical reports summarizing test results.\nProduct Development and Scale-up\nCollaborate with R&D scientist on formulation, synthesis, and performance testing of new adsorbent products.\nSupport the development, scale-up, and optimization of manufacturing processes for new products.\nFacilitate transition of new products from laboratory development to commercial manufacturing.\nConduct laboratory and pilot-scale testing to evaluate product performance in various water treatment applications.\nQuality & Regulatory Support\nPerform product analytical characterization and troubleshooting.\nRaw Material Qualification\nEvaluate and qualify new raw materials in collaboration with procurement, operations, and R&D teams.\nExternal Collaboration\nCoordinate work with external contract laboratories for specialized testing or analysis.\nSafety & Compliance\nFollow established laboratory safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.\nQualifications\nEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Science, or related field.\nExperience: 5+ years of experience in a laboratory or technical role within water treatment, environmental chemistry, materials science, or related industry. Experience in process scale up and product development is preferred.\nTechnical Skills:\nKnowledge of adsorption chemistry, water treatment processes, and/or metal removal technologies preferred.\nExperience with analytical methods (e.g., titration, wet chemistry, particle size, ICP, XRF, etc.).\nFamiliarity with quality systems, regulatory testing, and laboratory best practices.\nExperience with various adsorbent materials (e.g., activated carbon, ion exchange resins, advanced filtration media) a plus.\nFamiliarity in process scale up, pilot testing and validation.\nSoft Skills:\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\nSelf-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
