Together, we are expanding Intel’s Innovation Hub and investing in the future of semiconductor manufacturing while creating thousands of new jobs.You will play a critical role in maintaining and improving advanced manufacturing equipment in a high-tech, cleanroom environment, contributing directly to safety, quality, and production performance.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Module Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing equipment performance. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose issues with manufacturing equipmentDisassemble, adjust, repair, install, and assemble equipment using layout plans, blueprints, manuals, and technical documentationExecute equipment setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance; coordinate with suppliers for service and repairsMonitor, analyze, and interpret equipment and performance data to improve tool reliability, availability, and module performanceDocument system failures; update and create equipment specifications to support maintenance and performance improvementsPartner with engineering teams to execute experiments, tool configuration changes, and data collection activitiesSupport engineering troubleshooting efforts through data analysis and controlled experimentationCollaborate with module engineering and construction teams during factory ramps to ensure tools are installed, converted, and qualified per requirementsMaintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and procedural standardsNote: This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities.Work Schedule & Physical RequirementsCandidates must be willing and able to:Work a compressed schedule of three consecutive 12-hour shifts, followed by alternating 4-day workweeksDay Shift OptionsShift 4: AM/PM Sun–Tues + alternating WednesdaysShift 7: AM/PM Thurs–Sat + alternating WednesdaysNight Shift OptionsShift 5: PM–AM Sun–Tues + alternating SaturdaysShift 6: PM–AM Wed–Fri + alternating SaturdaysWork ConditionsWork in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE (coveralls, hood, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirator as required)Lift up to 25 lbs, up to five times per dayStand, walk (2–4 miles per shift), and sit for extended periods (up to 9 hours)Spend majority of shift (>90%) in cleanroom (excluding breaks)Climb ladders as neededWork in proximity to chemicals while following strict safety protocolsRequired Behavioral SkillsStrong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocolsAbility to follow documented procedures and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentAdaptability to changing priorities and dynamic conditionsExperience working in a team-based environmentContinuous learning mindsetAbility to multitask across tools and responsibilitiesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills for non-standard equipment/process issuesAbility to analyze data and provide clear, data-driven recommendationsEffective verbal and written communication skills with peers, engineers, and internal customersBasic computer skills (email, web systems, Microsoft Office tools)Additional InformationThis position supports either NSMi or WPM manufacturing operationsThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship2-year contract with potential for conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needsQualificationsQualificationsCandidates Must Meet At Least One Of The FollowingHS/GED or higher non-semi degree & 1+ year Technical certification or trade school ORHS/GED or higher non-semi degree & 2+ years hand on experience including military technical experience ORHS/GED or higher non-semi degree & 1+ year semi equip maintenance experience ORAssociate degree STEM Related to semi.
