Be a part of something special!\nHalvik is seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Programmer to support the analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and delivery of custom and frameworkbased software solutions. This role requires strong expertise in frontend scripting and markup languages as well as deep proficiency in Visual Basic .NET, C#, and the SSOM object model. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with technical teams and government stakeholders to ensure products meet mission needs with accuracy, integrity, and reliability.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAnalyze system and user requirements; design, code, test, debug, and document custom applications and frontend components.\nDevelop and maintain a comprehensive work breakdown structure (WBS) and project schedule including milestones, reviews, audits, quality checks, and customer acceptance testing.\nPerform development activities within a nonproduction development environment, including work in prerelease or staging environments that closely mirror production systems.\nProvide technical consulting and support for establishing and sustaining development and staging environments.\nDevelop software using Visual Basic .NET, C#, and the SSOM object model.\nConduct rigorous testing to validate accuracy, integrity, interoperability, completeness, and performance of all code; document test results thoroughly.\nProduce clear documentation for each release, including release notes, technical manuals, feature descriptions, code comments, and bugfix details.\nCreate enduser documentation such as training guides, howto articles, FAQs, and portal wiki content.\nSupport the Government in preparing training materials, demonstrating new features, delivering user manuals, generating test data, and developing scripts to meet training objectives.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.\n8–10+ years of progressive experience in application development.\nProficiency in Visual Basic .NET, C#, and the SSOM object model.\nDemonstrated experience developing in staged or preproduction environments.\nStrong background in structured testing, documentation, and version/release management.\nAbility to create highquality technical and enduser documentation.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex requirements.\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities, including direct customer interaction.\nCompTIA Sec+\nActive Secret security clearance\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in a related technical field.\nExperience working in government or DoD environments (if applicable).\nFamiliarity with SharePoint development, enterprise architecture, or related technologies.\nExperience mentoring junior developers or leading technical workstreams.\n\nHalvik offers a competitive full benefits package including:Company-supported medical, dental, vision, life, STD, and LTD insuranceBenefits include 11 federal holidays and PTOEligible employees may receive performance-based incentives in recognition of individual and/or team achievements.401(k) with company matchingFlexible Spending Accounts for commuter, medical, and dependent care expensesTuition AssistanceCharitable Contribution matching\nHalvik Corp is an equal opportunity employer.
