This position will partner closely with production leadership, quality, and human resources to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and workforce objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperations Leadership\nDirect and oversee daily 2nd shift production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.\nMonitor key performance indicators including productivity, attendance, quality performance, downtime, turnover, and headcount attainment.\nEnsure shift objectives are achieved while maintaining operational continuity across shifts.\nWorkforce Management\nManage employee attendance, retention, engagement, and performance initiatives.\nCoordinate orientation and training tracking for new hires and existing employees.\nSupport employee relations through coaching, counseling, investigations, and corrective action processes.\nMaintain compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and customer requirements.\nQuality & Continuous Improvement\nEnsure compliance with OEM quality standards, customer requirements, and internal quality management systems.\nIdentify opportunities to improve workforce performance, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.\n\nSafety & Compliance\nMaintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies.\nEnsure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and organizational procedures.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience\n3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, staffing, workforce management, or related leadership roles.\nStrong understanding of workforce planning, employee engagement, recruiting, and onboarding processes.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and performance management.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/ATS systems, ERP systems, and production reporting tools.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAutomotive manufacturing experience.\nLean Manufacturing Certification.\nSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.\nKnowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, or other quality management systems.\nExperience with high-volume production operations.\nProject management experience or certification.\nExperience managing contingent workforce programs or staffing operations.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work on the manufacturing floor for extended periods.\nFrequent standing, walking, and movement throughout production areas.\nAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.\nAbility to work flexible hours and support business needs outside of regular shift schedules when required.\nCompany Summary\nNo matter what stage of your career, Impact Workforce Solutions can help you achieve your goals and realize your full potential.
