This role requires strong programming skills, an understanding of software development best practices, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on cross-functional teams. The Intermediate Software Developer builds upon foundational experience to take on more complex projects while continuing to grow into a senior-level contributor.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\nTypical Responsibilities/Tasks:\n\nDesign, code, test, and debug software applications according to specifications.\nImplement new features and enhancements in alignment with project requirements.\nEnsure applications are efficient, maintainable, and meet quality standards.\nWork closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver software solutions.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nCollaborate on integration tasks with system engineers and DevOps teams.\nWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code.\nParticipate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.\nContribute to technical documentation including design specifications and user manuals.\nProficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).\nExperience with software frameworks and libraries (e.g., .NET, Angular, React, Spring Boot).\nKnowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.\nFamiliarity with Git and version control systems.\nUnderstanding of Agile development methodologies.\nBasic experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is preferred.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nDoD 8140 Certification\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.\nDemonstrated experience in developing, testing, and deploying software applications.\n\nAbout PingWind\n\nPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
